Third Reprint of the First Edition, 1912. An extremely clean and bright copy in half crushed morocco binding with green cloth boards, five raised bands to the spine with double line blind tooling to either side of them and gilt lettering to the spine. Marbled endpapers, top edge gilt and original silk page markers still present. In near fine condition apart from slight sunning to the spine, otherwise as previously mentioned all clean with sharp corners. Fully illustrated with by Frederick L. Griggs and with map of Sussex to rear end. Previous owner's 'Annie (Viscount) Cowdray' bookplate and binder's stamp 'J & E Bumpus Ltd. 350 Oxford St W' in gilt to bottom of front endboard. A lovely copy.
