A Complete Guide to Heraldry by A. C. Fox-Davies, 1956
Illustrated by nearly 800 designs, mainly from drawings by Graham Johnston, Herald Painter to the Lyon Court. Cream waxed cloth boards with decorative upper board in brown & blue, brown lettering & blue ruling to the spine, top edge gil, the covers are very clean and bright with light bumping to bottom corners. Internally with clean and crisp pages, light spotting to endpapers & ffeps and a touch of spotting to the rough pages edges, with some of the pages still uncut. Previous owner's book plate to ffep. Unclipped dust jacket, matching the boards with brown & red design, with browning and fading to the spine, age toning to panels and a few marks, creases and edge tears as seen in photos. A nice example.
